Accessibility Statement – SWS Mechanical
Last updated: 15 August, 2025
We at SWS Mechanical are working to make our site www.swsmech.com (https://www.swsmech.com) accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also [remove irrelevant information]:
-
Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues
-
Set the language of the site
-
Set the content order of the site’s pages
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on content that does not belong to Sharp Water Solutions – SWS Mechanical, and instead belongs to third‑party providers (e.g., embedded YouTube videos, Google Maps, and social‑media widgets). The following pages are affected:
-
https://www.swsmech.com/blog/* (any page that includes embedded videos)
We therefore declare partial compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA standard for these pages, while we continue to work with the third‑party providers to improve accessibility.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization
SWS Mechanical maintains a physically accessible office at:
14505 S Center Point Way, Bluffdale, UT 84065
Parking & Arrival – Designated accessible parking spaces are located directly in front of the building, with a clear, level pathway to the entrance. The office is reachable via public‑transport routes (UTA bus lines 470 and 471) that stop at the adjacent corner.
Entrance & Interior – The front door features an automatic, wheelchair‑friendly entry system. Inside, the lobby and reception area have wide aisles (minimum 36 inches) and a lowered service counter for wheelchair users. All restrooms are ADA‑compliant, equipped with grab bars, height‑adjusted sinks, and automatic flush mechanisms.
Facilities & Services – An accessible elevator provides access to the second floor where meeting rooms and the project‑management office are located. All meeting rooms have adjustable tables and chairs to accommodate various mobility needs. For visitors with hearing impairments, a visual alert system (flashing lights) is installed at the reception desk.
Assistive Technology – The office offers a screen‑reader‑compatible computer workstation and a magnification device for clients who need visual assistance. Printed materials are available in large‑print format upon request.
